EV Automobiles in Haryana

The Haryana government has announced a big scheme to promote electric vehicles (EV). A subsidy of up to 15% on electric vehicles priced up to ₹ 40 lakh is going to be implemented again. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage common people, especially the middle class, to buy electric vehicles and reduce pollution. Under this, electric scooters and three-wheeler vehicles will also get priority. Industry Minister Rao Narveer Singh has directed the officials to implement this rule soon. Currently, more than 1.2 lakh electric vehicles are registered in Haryana, of which Gurugram has the highest number. The implementation of this subsidy policy will accelerate the electric vehicle market and improve the environment.
