PM Kisan Yojana started by the central government is the welfare schemes for farmers across the country, but the PM Kisan Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) has proved to be the most effective and popular. Under this scheme, crores of farmers get financial help every year, but even today many eligible farmers are not able to take advantage of it just due to lack of registration. Now the process of PM Kisan Yojana New Registration 2025 has started again, in which eligible farmers can apply directly to get an installment of Rs 2000.
Highlights of the PM Kisan Yojana scheme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme in the year 2019. This scheme transfers Rs 6000 annually to the bank account of every eligible farmer, which is sent through DBT in installments of Rs 2000 every 4 months. So far 20 installments have been released and lakhs of farmers have availed its benefits.
Who Can Apply For PM Kisan Yojana 2025?

Eligibility Criteria For PM Kisan Yojana 2025-
- The benefit of the scheme is given to small and marginal farmers.
- The farmer should have maximum 5 acres of cultivable land.
- The land should be registered in the name of the farmer.
- If there is more than one eligible member in the family, then separate registrations can be done.
Who will not get the benefit under this scheme?
- Farmers whose land is in the name of some organization or company.
- Active or former ministers, MPs, MLAs or government servants holding constitutional posts.
- Those farmers whose pension is more than Rs 10,000 or pay income tax.
Required documents for applying in PM Kisan Yojana
- Aadhar card
- Phone number which is linked with Aadhar Card
- Land Documents (Khatauni/Khasra Number)
- Bank account details (IFSC code, account number, branch)
- Income Certificate
- Passport size photo.
How to register online in PM Kisan Yojana?
- Visit PM Kisan Yojana Portal: pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ on the homepage.
- Select Rural Farmer, Enter Aadhar Card Number.
- Send OTP and enter the OTP received on your mobile.
- A new form will open—fill the details of state, district, village, block, land.
- Check the information and submit it.
Second Option-
If it is difficult to register online, you can also complete the process by visiting the nearest Gram Panchayat Centre, Ward Panchayat or local CSC (Common Service Centre).
