Dharmendra Passes Away at 89
Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, aged 89, passed away on Monday afternoon at his Mumbai home. His cremation took place at Vile Parle cremation ground around 3 PM, attended by: Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Bobby Deol & Sunny Deol and Several Bollywood personalities.
PM Narendra Modi called Dharmendra’s demise “the end of an era” and shared a heartfelt tribute at 2:50 PM.
Actress Priyanka Chopra also posted an emotional note sharing her personal memories of interacting with Dharmendra during her early film career, calling his passing “deeply personal”.

INLD Chief Abhay Singh Chautala has accused the Haryana Government of imposing a massive 10x hike in tractor registration renewal fees.

He called this decision “anti-farmer” and demanded immediate rollback. Chautala said:
“This is the same farmer and the same tractor that fed the nation during COVID when industries were shut.“
Justice Surya Kant Sworn In as India’s 53rd CJI
Justice Surya Kant, originally from Petwar village in Hisar, was sworn in as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. He is the first person from Haryana to reach this post. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
